At least 3–5 days before treatment: Avoid excessive sun exposure and tanning beds to prevent sunburn or skin irritation. If you must go outside, apply a high-SPF sunscreen (SPF 30 or higher) to protect your skin.

2. Discontinue Use of Certain Skincare Products

Stop Retinoids/Retinol: Discontinue the use of retinoids (e.g., Retin-A, Tretinoin) or retinol products 3–5 days before treatment. These can make your skin more sensitive and prone to irritation.
Avoid Acidic Products: Avoid products containing alpha-hydroxy acids (AHAs), beta-hydroxy acids (BHAs), or other exfoliating agents like glycolic acid, salicylic acid, or benzoyl peroxide for about 3–5 days before treatment.
